# Affiliate Program

> Earn 10% recurring commission by referring new subscribers

## How It Works

The Edge Analyzer Affiliate Program lets paid subscribers earn **10% recurring commission** on every payment from users they refer. When someone subscribes through your referral link, you earn commissions on every payment they make — for as long as they remain a subscriber.

<Steps>
  <Step title="Enroll">
    Navigate to the **Affiliate** page in the sidebar and click "Become an Affiliate."
  </Step>

  <Step title="Share Your Link">
    Once enrolled, copy your unique referral link from the affiliate dashboard and share it with your network.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Earn Commissions">
    When someone signs up through your link and subscribes, you earn 10% of every payment they make.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Get Paid">
    Request a payout when your balance reaches \$100. Payouts are processed to your bank account.
  </Step>
</Steps>

## Eligibility

* You must have an **active paid subscription** (Basic or Pro) to enroll
* Free trial users cannot enroll — subscribe first, then join the program

## Referral Attribution

When someone visits Edge Analyzer through your referral link (`?ref=YOUR_CODE`):

1. A referral cookie is set in their browser
2. If they sign up and verify their email, they are linked to your affiliate account
3. When they subscribe and make a payment, you earn a commission

Attribution uses **last-click** — if a user visits with multiple referral links, the most recent one is used.

## Payouts

<Note>
  The payout system is currently being updated. Commission tracking is fully active — your earnings are recorded and will be available for payout once the updated payout system is ready.
</Note>

## Self-Referral Policy

You cannot refer yourself. The system prevents self-referrals at the database level.
