# Analytics Dashboard

> Your daily command center for trading performance

The Performance Dashboard is your daily command center. It provides a consolidated view of all your trading accounts and key metrics at a glance.

## Dashboard Overview

### What You See

| Section                  | Description                                                     |
| ------------------------ | --------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Consolidated P\&L**    | Total profit and loss across all your accounts                  |
| **Account Status Cards** | Quick view of each account's health, balance, and status        |
| **Performance Charts**   | Visual breakdowns of your trading results over time             |
| **Goal Progress**        | Progress toward your weekly and monthly profit targets          |
| **Recent Alerts**        | Notifications about accounts that need attention                |
| **AI Insights**          | Data-driven observations about your trading patterns (Pro plan) |

## Dashboard Widgets

The dashboard uses customizable stat widgets to display your key metrics:

    Your highest single-day profit
  </Card>

### Additional Metrics

* Worst trading day
* Performance by session (Asia, London, New York)
* Performance by instrument (ES, NQ, CL, GC)
* Hold time analysis
* Expectancy

## Date Range Filtering

Use the date range picker to view performance over different time periods:

| Preset           | Description                         |
| ---------------- | ----------------------------------- |
| **Today**        | Current trading day                 |
| **This Week**    | Monday through today                |
| **This Month**   | First of month through today        |
| **This Quarter** | Current quarter                     |
| **Custom**       | Select specific start and end dates |

All dashboard widgets and charts update based on your selected range.

## Account Cards

Each account displays a status card showing:

* Account name and broker
* Current balance
* Account type (Evaluation, Funded, Live, Live Account)
* Status indicator (Active, Inactive, Suspended, Closed)
* Daily P\&L
* Quick access to account details

## Performance Charts

### P\&L Over Time

Line or bar chart showing profit/loss progression day by day, week by week, or month by month.

### Distribution Charts

* Win vs. loss distribution
* Profit by instrument
* Profit by session time
* Trade outcome breakdown

### Equity Curve

Track your account equity over time to visualize your trading journey.

## Currency Display

Edge Analyzer supports multiple display currencies. Your account data is stored in the original currency and converted for display using current exchange rates.

    All values are now shown in your selected currency.

## Goal Progress

The dashboard displays your goal progress as a visual indicator:

| Color         | Meaning                                |
| ------------- | -------------------------------------- |
| 🟢 **Green**  | On track to meet or exceed your target |
| 🟡 **Yellow** | Behind pace but still achievable       |
| 🔴 **Red**    | Significantly behind target            |

Goals are calculated from your actual trade P\&L across all active accounts.

## Recent Alerts

The dashboard shows your most recent alerts, including:

* Accounts approaching prop firm rule limits
* Goal milestone notifications
* Connection status changes
* Account status updates

Click any alert to view details and take action.
