The Accounts section shows all trading accounts discovered from your connections. This is your central hub for viewing account health, balances, and status across all your prop firms and brokers.

Account Status

Each account has a status that reflects its current state:
When Edge Analyzer detects a prop firm rule violation through the alert system, the account status can automatically update to Closed.

Creating an Account

Accounts are typically discovered automatically when you create a connection. However, you can also create accounts manually:

Navigate to Accounts

Go to Accounts in the sidebar.

Click Add Account

Click Add Account.

Enter Details

Enter the account name and account ID (optional).

Select Account Type

Choose Evaluation, Funded, Live, or Live Account.

Select Exchange/Prop Firm

Choose the associated exchange or prop firm from the list.

Save

Save the account.

Managing Accounts

Editing Accounts

From the Accounts page, click on any account to:
  • Edit account name
  • Change account type
  • Update associated exchange
  • View account-specific metrics

Changing Status

Update account status when:
  • You stop trading an account (set to Inactive)
  • An account is blown or closed (set to Closed)
  • You resume trading (set to Active)

Archiving Accounts

Closed accounts can be archived to remove them from active views while preserving historical data. Archived accounts:
  • Don’t appear in the main accounts list
  • Don’t count toward connection limits
  • Retain all trade history and journal links
  • Can be restored if needed

Viewing Account Performance

Click any account to view detailed performance metrics:
  • P&L history (daily, weekly, monthly)
  • Win rate for this account
  • Profit factor
  • Trade count
  • Best and worst days
  • Equity curve

Filtering by Account

Throughout Edge Analyzer, you can filter data by account:
  • Dashboard: View metrics for specific accounts
  • Trades: Filter trade history by account
  • Journal: View entries related to specific accounts
  • Analytics: Compare performance across accounts

Connection Limits

Your plan determines how many accounts you can have:
After downgrading from Pro to Basic, existing accounts remain but you cannot add new ones until you’re within limits.
