Tradovate uses OAuth for secure authentication, making it one of the easiest platforms to connect.

Prerequisites

  • An active Tradovate account (demo or live)
  • Access to your Tradovate login credentials

Step-by-Step Connection

Navigate to Connections

Go to Connections in the sidebar and click Add Connection.

Select Tradovate

Choose Tradovate from the platform options.

Enter Connection Name

Give your connection a name (e.g., “Tradovate Live”).

Authorize

Click Authorize with Tradovate. You’ll be redirected to Tradovate’s login page.

Log In

Enter your Tradovate credentials and approve the connection.

Complete

You’ll be redirected back to Edge Analyzer with your connection active.

OAuth Security

Tradovate uses OAuth 2.0 for authentication:
  • Edge Analyzer never sees your Tradovate password
  • You authorize directly with Tradovate
  • You can revoke access anytime from your Tradovate account settings
  • Tokens are automatically refreshed

Account Types

Tradovate connections can include: Both account types are fully supported for copy trading and journaling.

Troubleshooting

  • Allow popups for app.edgeanalyzer.com
  • Try using a different browser
  • Disable popup blockers temporarily
  • Tokens auto-refresh, but if issues persist, reconnect your account
  • Delete the connection and create a new one
  • Ensure your Tradovate account is active
  • Check if you have trading permissions enabled
  • Contact Tradovate support if issues persist
