Getting the Most from Feedback
Be honest in your journal — The more detail you provide about your reasoning and emotions, the better feedback your mentor can give.
Ask specific questions — End journal entries with questions for your mentor: “Was my stop too tight?” or “Should I have held longer?”
Review regularly — Check for new comments at least weekly and respond promptly to keep the dialogue active.
Implement suggestions — Track mentor suggestions and note when you apply them in future entries.
Comment Notifications
When your mentor adds a comment:- A notification appears in your notification bell
- The journal entry is marked with a “New Comment” indicator
- (Optional) Email notifications can be enabled in settings

| Do | Don’t |
|---|---|
| Write detailed journal entries | Write one-line summaries |
| Include screenshots of charts | Assume mentor knows the context |
| Be honest about emotions | Hide mistakes or losses |
| Ask for specific feedback | Expect mentor to do all the work |
| Respond to comments | Ignore feedback |
