You have full control over your mentor’s access to your data. You can revoke access at any time, and your mentor immediately loses the ability to view your information.

Viewing Current Access

To see your mentor’s access status:
  1. Go to SettingsMentorship
  2. View the Active Mentor section
You’ll see:
  • Mentor’s email address
  • When they accepted the invitation
  • Their access status (Active/Pending/Revoked)

Revoking Mentor Access

If you need to remove your mentor’s access:

Go to Mentorship Settings

Navigate to SettingsMentorship.

Click Revoke Access

Find your active mentor and click Revoke Access.

Confirm

Confirm that you want to remove their access.
Revoking access is immediate. Your mentor loses access to all your data instantly. Previous comments they made on your journal entries remain visible to you.

Cancelling a Pending Invitation

If you sent an invitation but want to cancel before it’s accepted:
  1. Go to SettingsMentorship
  2. Find the pending invitation
  3. Click Cancel Invitation
The invitation link becomes invalid immediately.

Switching Mentors

To work with a different mentor:

Revoke Current Access

Remove your current mentor’s access.

Send New Invitation

Enter your new mentor’s email and send an invitation.

Wait for Acceptance

Your new mentor accepts and gains access.
Edge Analyzer currently supports one active mentor at a time. You can switch mentors as often as needed.

Privacy Considerations

Your mentor never has access to:
  • Your actual account balances
  • Purchase amounts or invoices
  • Payout amounts or receipts
  • Broker credentials
  • Connection settings
This separation ensures you can work with a mentor while keeping your financial information private.

Mentor Account Deletion

If a mentor deletes their Edge Analyzer account:
  • Their access to your data is automatically revoked
  • Their comments on your journal entries remain
  • You can invite a new mentor at any time

FAQ

If you cancel your subscription and lose Pro plan access, the mentorship feature becomes unavailable. Your mentor will not be able to access your data until you resubscribe.
There’s no pause feature currently. You can revoke access and re-invite the same mentor later if needed.
Your mentor will see they no longer have access when they try to view your data. They do not receive a notification email.
